As you may have recently read, Finders International was acquired by Pelican Capital in May 2024.

Pelican Capital’s investment in Finders International underscores its confidence in our growth trajectory and our ongoing impact on the probate genealogy industry, both in the UK and internationally. This strategic partnership is poised to accelerate Finders International’s expansion and technological capabilities, further solidifying its position as a market leader.

With the acquisition agreed and the focus very much on business growth, we have made the following internal promotions to help lead our teams.

Simonne Llewellyn was Deputy Managing Director is now our new CEO
James Empson previously General Manager and is now Head of Private Client Services
Katie Watson previously Public Sector Manager and is now Head of Public Sector Services
Ali Sawab previously IT & Cyber Security Manager and is now Head of IT and Cyber Security
Kirsty O’Brien previously Marketing and PR Manager and is now Head of Marketing and PR

Simonne Llewllyn said, “I am delighted to take up the position of CEO. It is a very exciting time for the business and, with the backing of Pelican Capital, it is an extremely positive move for Finders International generally. There are clear opportunities to expand and develop the business further and I look forward to achieving great things alongside the Finders team, our stellar board of directors and the support of Pelican Capital.”
