Supporting Irish Communities in 2026: Why We’re Backing ALONE and the Irish Wildlife Trust

At Finders International Ireland, we’re committed to supporting the communities we work with across the country. For 2026, we’re proud to champion two charities that reflect values we care deeply about – ALONE, a national organisation enabling older people to age safely and happily at home, and the Irish Wildlife Trust, a conservation charity working to protect Ireland’s wildlife and natural habitats.
ALONE: Supporting Older People to Age at Home
ALONE provides practical supports that help older people live independently at home – including a national support & referral line (open 8am–8pm, seven days a week), befriending and social support, housing with support, and coordinated services to combat loneliness and isolation across Ireland. Irish Wildlife Trust (IWT): Protecting Nature and Biodiversity
The Irish Wildlife Trust is a conservation charity dedicated to safeguarding Ireland’s wildlife and the habitats they depend on. Their vision is an Ireland where wild nature thrives, supported by advocacy, education, rewilding, and community engagement across the country. Learn more: https://iwt.ie/
Supporting These Charities in 2026
Throughout the year, our Ireland team will run a series of internal fundraising and awareness raising initiatives. These may include themed charity days, friendly team challenges, seasonal events and office activities designed to bring people together while raising support for these causes. We’ll share dates, signups and updates on our channels so everyone can get involved.

We look forward to working together and making a positive impact across Ireland this year.
While this update focuses on our chosen charities in Ireland, we’re also supporting two UK based organisations this year. You can read more about our UK charity partners, Vision 21 and The Silver Line, in our dedicated UK charity blog here
